Building a social application

''This unpredictability makes architecting social spaces the most challenging work''
- March 03, 2009 A list apart

I have been working on the design for my own social application for some days now and it finally starts to fall into place (the struggle when you're your own worst critic!).

I've just started reading a related article on A list apart, and they know this too.
If there is anyone on posterous working in the same field and who would like to share some pointers, give some advice, have a talk on the topic, comment on this post. I'd like to share some thoughs with someone likeminded.

Humanized signup form

A very nice example of better user-experience. A signup form that is well layed out and is just readable for everybody. Although it might be a tad new at first, it's a very nice approach: http://huffduffer.com/signup/

Design, thinking outside of the box

visualizeus.zip (791 KB)

I have uploaded this zip-file before and it didn't generate a gallery. I assume the problem was with the name of the files. Visualize.us uses tags, seperated with comma's when you download an image. Posterous' gallery generator doesn't seem to like comma's. Just to let you know!
